This website (funded by Science Foundation Ireland) provides a set of freely available STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) resources for hands-on activities that can be used by higher education staff and students at engagement events such as open days, school visits, science festivals and career evenings.
The resource set for each activity is accessible through the Instructor section. This includes equipment and consumable lists, an instructional video, a manual/operating procedure, and safety information. Technical information explaining the science behind the activity and linking it to the Irish secondary school curriculum is also provided. Students who participated in the activities can Ask a Question or Post a Comment in the Student section.
